April is Parkinson’s Awareness Month, therefore, I have a goal to get information out about this chronic progressive disease. I thought I was doing a good job at this, however, I have realized that I don’t inform my family, friends, or even the general public about how PD patients feel or about the symptoms and how it really affects our lives. In our support group, we support each other and talk just about everything. Parkinson’s really does suck. It makes you feel as though you are a prisoner in your own life. Our families continue on with their lives, as though nothing has changed and basically, for them it really hasn’t. Therefore, stay tuned to hear more on “Parkinson’s disease Exposed”.
